Experience Reiki Terms & Conditions
Effective as of January 2026
By booking a session with Experience Reiki, you agree to the following Terms & Conditions:
1. Booking & Payment
1.1 All sessions require full payment at booking to confirm the appointment. Payments are accepted via credit or debit card directly on the website (via the SimplyBook embedded system).
1.2 For other payment options such as bank transfer or Revolut, please contact Experience Reiki directly to arrange.
1.3 For services over €100, you may request to pay a deposit first and the remaining balance before the session (or before the third session for packages of three or more). Please contact Experience Reiki to arrange this.
2. Cancellations & Changes
2.1 Cancellation requests made at least 48 hours before the scheduled session are accepted without penalty. You can use the link provided in your confirmation email to cancel.
2.2 Cancellation requests made between 24 and 48 hours before the session will incur a fee of 50% of the session cost.
2.3 Cancellations or no-shows made less than 24 hours before the session will incur a fee of 100% of the session cost, as this time cannot be rebooked.
2.4 If you need to change your appointment, please contact Experience Reiki with your preferred new date and time, and we will do our best to accommodate your request.
2.5 In cases of emergencies or sudden illness, please get in touch as soon as possible to discuss alternative arrangements.
3. Late Arrival
3.1 Sessions may be shortened if a client arrives more than 15 minutes late, to avoid impacting subsequent bookings.
3.2 Full session fees will still apply regardless of late arrival.
4. Session Format
4.1 All sessions are conducted online via a secure video platform.
4.2 Clients are responsible for ensuring a stable internet connection, a private and comfortable space, and any necessary technology.
4.3 While it is preferable to have the camera on, clients may choose to keep it off if that better supports their comfort (e.g. during a Reiki session where lying down is preferred).
5. Nature of Services
5.1 Reiki and coaching services offered are complementary and supportive in nature and are not a substitute for medical or psychological treatment.
5.2 Individual results may vary and no specific outcome can be guaranteed.
6. Client Responsibilities
6.1 Clients agree to provide accurate contact information and communicate any relevant needs or changes prior to their sessions.
6.2 Clients agree to conduct themselves respectfully during sessions.
6.3 Clients must complete and submit the relevant Intake & Consent Form prior to their first session, acknowledging understanding of the service and consenting to participate.
7. Changes or Cancellations by Experience Reiki
If Experience Reiki must cancel or reschedule a confirmed session (e.g. due to illness or technical issues), clients will be notified promptly and offered an alternative date or a full refund.
8. Privacy and Data Protection
8.1 Client personal information is stored securely and used only for the purposes of service delivery, in compliance with applicable data protection laws.
8.2 Third-Party Services & Data Processing
To manage bookings and scheduling, Experience Reiki uses SimplyBook.me Ltd.
SimplyBook.me acts as a technical service provider, processing personal data only on our behalf according to their Privacy Policy and Data Processing Agreement. They do not provide or deliver the services offered by Experience Reiki.
8.3 Cookie Notice
We use cookies to ensure the smooth functioning of our website. These cookies are essential to provide you with a seamless experience. No personal data is collected through cookies for marketing or analytics purposes, as we do not use tracking tools such as Google Analytics or Facebook Pixel.
9. Client Communications
Clients may be contacted regarding their sessions, including follow-ups or invitations to provide feedback or reviews. These communications are essential for client care and do not require additional marketing consent.
10. Marketing Communications
Clients who opt in via consent forms may receive newsletters, promotions, updates, and marketing communications. They may unsubscribe at any time.
11. Modifications to Terms
These Terms & Conditions may be updated periodically. Continued use of the booking system or services after changes have been posted signifies acceptance of the updated terms.
